From the Storm to the Shop

These live oak trees once stood on my own property along Lake Ashby Road in Florida. A hurricane brought them down, and I chose to give them a second life. I'm salvaging and milling the logs into slabs for future one-of-a-kind live-edge epoxy tables. The wood is still drying, and each finished piece will carry a little history from my own land.

Project Update — The Wood Is Still Drying

The slabs are still drying. I’m giving the wood the time it needs before moving on to the next stage of these live-edge epoxy tables. Stay tuned for updates as the project progresses.
